How consent works here

Strictly necessary cookies are always on, because the store cannot work without them. Everything else stays off until you allow it. We use Google Consent Mode v2: before you choose, analytics and advertising storage are set to denied, and Google tags only read or write cookies for the categories you accept. Your choice is remembered for six months, after which we ask again.

  • pewes_wc_session, 14 days. Keeps your cart between pages.
  • pewes_token, 1 day, and pewes_refresh, 30 days. Keep you signed in. Set only when you sign in and removed when you sign out.
  • pewes_checkout, 1 day. Links a checkout in progress to its payment.
  • pewes_ref, 30 days. Remembers the referral link you arrived through, so the person who invited you gets the credit. Set only when you open a referral link.
  • pewes_consent, 6 months. Remembers your cookie choice.
  • __stripe_mid, 1 year, and __stripe_sid, 30 minutes. Set by Stripe on the checkout page to prevent fraud.

Analytics, only with consent

  • _ga, 2 years, and _ga_ followed by an ID, 2 years. Set by Google Analytics 4 to count visits and tell visits apart.

Marketing, only with consent

The demo does not run advertising. If you allow this category, Google may use advertising cookies to measure campaigns if we start running them. No such cookie is set today.

Storage in your browser

The store can be installed as an app. Its service worker keeps a copy of some pages and files in your browser storage so the site loads faster and can show an offline page. If you allow push notifications, your browser stores a push subscription. You can clear both from your browser settings.

Use cookie settings to accept or reject optional cookies. When you withdraw analytics consent we remove the Google Analytics cookies we can reach. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, though blocking the necessary ones stops the cart and the sign in from working.

The cookie policy in short

Strictly necessary storage keeps your cart and your session and cannot be switched off. Analytics and marketing storage are both off until you say otherwise, and the banner remembers your answer rather than asking again.

Consent here follows the model the European Data Protection Board describes: no non essential storage before a clear choice, and refusing must be as easy as accepting.

Changing your mind

This cookie policy is enforced from one place: open cookie settings in the footer. Clearing site data in your browser does the same thing more bluntly, and will also empty your cart. What we do with the data is in the privacy policy.
