About this site
Why does this site exist?
To show, rather than describe, what a custom built online store can feel like. PEWES ENERGY is a complete demo: catalogue, cart, checkout, accounts, subscriptions, referrals, loyalty coupons and notifications, all working end to end. It exists so store owners can compare it with Shopify and other hosted platforms by using it, not by reading a sales page.
Can I actually buy something?
No. Nothing here is for sale and nothing is shipped. You can go through the whole checkout, but the payment runs in test mode and no money moves.
Why is Stripe in test mode?
Because this is a demo. Test mode lets the real Stripe payment form, 3D Secure and webhooks run exactly as they would in a live store, without charging anyone. Use the test card 4242 4242 4242 4242 with any future expiry date and any three digit code. Please never type a real card number here.
Is it safe to create an account?
Yes. Passwords are stored as hashes by WordPress, and the sign in form is protected by a security check that does not track you. Use a password you do not use elsewhere, and remember that we may reset the demo and delete test accounts. See the privacy policy for details.
How it was built
What was this site made with?
In broad strokes: WordPress and WooCommerce run in the background and manage products, orders, customers and content. The storefront you see is a separate, fast application built with Next.js and React, connected to WooCommerce through an API. Payments go through Stripe, and the cans are real time 3D. Most pages are cached and served close to instantly, while carts and accounts stay live.
Why not just use a regular WordPress theme or Shopify?
A headless setup keeps the flexibility and ownership of WooCommerce while giving the speed and freedom of a custom application. You own the code and the data, pay no platform fees on every sale, and are not limited to what a theme or an app store allows.
Can it be installed like an app?
Yes. On most phones and desktop browsers you can add it to your home screen, and signed in users can turn on push notifications for orders, referrals and coupons.

What can I try?

Questions about the drinks
Are the drinks real?
The brand, the artwork and the recipes are real design work. The cans in the photographs are renders of a real can shape wearing real wrap artwork. Nothing is manufactured or shipped, which is why this PEWES ENERGY FAQ exists rather than a customer service line.
What is the difference between the ranges?
Guilt Free Pleasures are made without sugar, Sweet Sins are made with it, and Herbal Delights are still iced teas brewed from black or green tea. Sugar is a property of the range, not of the brand. Every can is 250 ml and comes in three caffeine strengths: none, standard at 80 mg and a boost at 96 mg.
How does the pricing work?
Every can has one price, and the price per can drops as the quantity rises: ten percent from four, seventeen from twelve, twenty five from twenty four. A subscription takes another ten percent off each delivery. The shop shows the ladder on every product page.
