PEWES ENERGY

Delivery and returns

Delivery and returns on this store work exactly as they would on a live one, with one difference: nothing is shipped. The rates below are the rates the checkout charges.

Nothing on this site is shipped. PEWES ENERGY is a demonstration store and every order is placed with Stripe in test mode, so no parcel ever leaves a warehouse and no money moves. This page explains what the checkout shows, so the demo makes sense.

Shipping options you will see

The shipping rates are configured in WooCommerce exactly as a real store would configure them, so you can see how zones and thresholds behave:

  • European Union: standard post, 10 to 20 working days, 12 euro. Express courier, 2 to 5 working days, 30 euro.
  • Rest of the world: standard post, 10 to 20 working days, 22 euro. Express courier, 2 to 5 working days, 60 euro.
  • Free standard post on orders of 200 euro or more, everywhere.

The delivery times are part of the example and are not a promise.

Subscriptions

A subscription creates a new test order on its delivery day each month, with the same shipping rules as a single order. You can pause, change or cancel it from your account. No delivery is made and no card is charged.

Order statuses

Orders move through statuses such as processing and completed so you can see notifications and the account area at work. A completed status here does not mean anything was sent.

Returns and refunds

There is nothing to return and nothing to refund, because nothing was bought. If you believe a real payment was taken from you on this site, which should not be possible in test mode, write to team@pavels.ro straight away and we will look into it.

Want this for a real store?

In a live store, this page would hold your real carriers, cut off times, the 14 day right of withdrawal and your returns process. If you would like a store built like this one, tell us about it.

Delivery and returns in a real store

If this were a live shop, this page would carry the carriers, the cut off times, the fourteen day right of withdrawal that European consumer law gives a shopper, and the address a parcel goes back to. The rates below are configured in WooCommerce exactly as a live store would configure them, which is the point of showing them at all.

Where the rates come from

Shipping zones live in WooCommerce and the storefront asks for them at checkout rather than repeating them in code. Change a zone in the admin and the checkout changes with it. That is why the delivery and returns rules here always match what the cart charges: there is one source for both.

The free shipping threshold works the same way. It is a rule on the zone, not a coupon, so it applies the moment the basket crosses two hundred euro, in every currency the store is configured for.

Delivery and returns at a glance

  • Home country. The cheapest rate, one to two working days.
  • European Union. A flat rate per box, two to five working days.
  • Everywhere else. Quoted at checkout, where we ship at all.

Free shipping applies to the whole basket above two hundred euro, in every zone that has a rate.

What a return would look like

Fourteen days to change your mind, counted from the day the parcel arrives, which is the right of withdrawal European consumer law gives a shopper. Unopened cans go back, opened ones do not, and a faulty delivery is replaced rather than returned.

A refund produces a credit note against the original invoice rather than editing it, which is the same rule the invoice numbering follows.
